I see in some of the previous posts, Capt.Rath has posted some of the prototype GuessworX logos that we mailed to him mistakenly.
I thought it essential for me to post the finalised logo I designed for GuessworX or all to see. :)

Sir,
As I mentioned in the mail, the original copy of this logo was more to my liking. The fone signifies dripping liquid or curry, The smoke can be changed to a lighter shade but black suits the look. As far as the background is concerened, I will simple keep it transparent so tat this logo can be put on any background. But as far as the bowl color and other things are concerned, it is y humble suggestion that no changes are incorporated. This modified version has some effects to make the bowl look more realistic and the font is plain. But somehow, there is no 'punch' to it. Its just a suggestion. If you would like me to edit some more then please let me know.

How about this one? It shows the hotness od currys...the chilli in the flame enhances the fact that its a restaurant with spicy indian food.

I liked your concept. But the execution does not inspire me at this stage.
When you have time - think about & come out with something thats "Sticky".
Sticky means - Once someone sees it he can not forget it - So it needs to be
: Too brilliand or Too rotten Or shocking Or Whacky

The 1st one looks OK, but back ground of black gives it a melancholic look. Need to work on.
2nd one - looks too cliche'd
3rd one - does not have that eye-catching stickiness about it.

The outlines dont look sharp & dont display clear defination.
Better to have a face to give expressions later on. Like a smile, a pout stc...
The neck area cud be colored similar toa a curry brth....
A few ideas to work on....
I ustd u hv yr studies and assignments. But to work on these all u need is a creative thinking and brain-storming with yr guys. You dont need dedicated time to hit the target. If you try hard and give it time to sit and do....u will screw it up.
Just think abt it and come out with ideas to make more it sticky and pointed.

Nevertheless, we are mailing you the newly designed logos now.
Also, you mentioned in our previous conversation over the phone that you would like the mascot to be changed. No changes as far as the mascot was concerned had been decided in the meeting, but our graphic designer will get to work on it immediately. But he would like some input on what you are looking for in the mascot. Currently, he is not sure what changes to implement. Still we will experiment here and there and come up with something that will hopefully meet your requirements. But this again will take a few days due to our exams which continue till the 21st of January,2009.
Please find attached 3 JPEG files of the new logos that we have designed and one file containing the mascot so that you can review it and point out what changes you would like.
Please note that according to Mr.Dayanands suggestion, we have made the name shorter. The name is now 'The Curry Story'.
Also, we would like to know if any progress has been made as far as the property for the restaurant is concerned as we will have to redesign the restaurant layout in accordance to the property.
